Andriy Babchynskyi

A painter and graphic artist with an architectural background, Andrei Babchinsky says that he is primarily attracted by the new - a new task, a new technique, a different angle of view, and his ideas must mature for a long time - so long that it is impossible not to realize them.

Figurative, abstract, oil, acrylic - the impression is that for Babchinsky only the idea matters, everything else is just a means to an end: “Each of the paintings first appears as an idea, later acquiring style, technique and sound. That's why they are so different. I call it a dissociative dialectic”.
