When I was a kid, I didn't really like to draw, but at the same time.
I knew I would be an artist someday. I had this strange confidence thanks to my dad, who was an artist and was always making things. Once he gave me his Leningrad watercolor and taught me how to mix paints. It was like a miracle. I felt like the Creator. Dad still has my first drawings from when I was three years old. But the best part was in our backyard. A real workshop for a great artist! There was a mountain of building materials, old junk, sticks, cans, rags, stones and, most importantly, a huge trough of clay.
