Careful, it's painted!

The title of this project was born by chance, when almost all the works included in it had already been written, the decision about the exhibition had been made, and work was even beginning on the catalog, which you are now reading.
In mid-March 2016, the poet Boris Khersonsky came to visit me and accidentally elbowed the drying painting “What is Truth?”, staining his favorite wool sweater.
- “You should write ‘Careful, it's painted!’ on your paintings,” said a slightly upset Khersonsky.
And it was immediately clear to me that the problem with the title for the project had been fully and finally resolved.
